WHAT MAY BE UNDER THE TILE?
Tile may be installed over thinset, cement board, a mortar bed or another approved material. The actual removal depth should be confirmed as part of the scope. What is under the tile can only be confirmed once removal is underway, so the condition or quality of the substrate is not promised before the layers are opened.
