Terms of
service.
The working terms for demolition, removal, cleanout and hauling services provided by Demohaulic LLC.
These terms describe the basis on which Demohaulic LLC discusses and performs services. A project estimate, written scope or other job-specific agreement may add details.
Scope of work
Services are limited to the materials, areas and tasks described in the confirmed scope. Demohaulic performs selective interior demolition, removal, hauling and cleanout work within the scope it is legally permitted and insured to perform. Demohaulic is not a licensed structural demolition contractor and does not include load-bearing removal unless separately confirmed by appropriately qualified parties.
Estimates and pricing
Estimates are based on the information available, including photos, access, materials, volume, disposal weight, protection needs and requested services. Pricing may change if the scope or site conditions differ. Additional work requires customer approval before it is performed when practical.
Payment terms
Payment timing and accepted methods are stated in the estimate or job-specific agreement. The customer is responsible for approved work and agreed disposal or additional-scope charges.
Scheduling and access
The customer must provide accurate access information and make the agreed work area available at the scheduled time. Delays, unavailable access or conditions outside Demohaulic’s control may require rescheduling.
Dust, debris and jobsite conditions
Demolition creates dust, noise, vibration and debris even when reasonable protection and containment methods are used. Floor protection, plastic barriers, HEPA air scrubbing, careful debris removal and cleanup may be used based on the project and scope; none is guaranteed on every job.
Property protection
Demohaulic takes reasonable care with the work area and access path. The customer must disclose fragile finishes, hidden conditions and known hazards. Existing conditions and damage that was present before work or is caused by undisclosed conditions are not Demohaulic’s responsibility.
Utilities and site preparation
The customer or a licensed contractor must complete utility disconnects that legally require a licensed trade before demolition begins. The customer is responsible for permits, inspections, engineering, utility locating and other site preparation unless a written agreement states otherwise.
Permits and compliance
The customer is responsible for confirming permits and approvals required for the property and project. Demohaulic does not promise engineering, code compliance or permit work that has not been confirmed.
Debris removal
Debris removal and disposal are included only when stated in the confirmed scope. Hazardous materials, including asbestos, lead and mold, are not Demohaulic services and must be handled by appropriately qualified professionals.
Cancellations
Contact Demohaulic as soon as possible if a scheduled project needs to change or be cancelled. Any applicable charges or rescheduling terms will be handled under the job-specific agreement.
Limitation of liability
To the extent allowed by Michigan law, Demohaulic is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses. Liability for approved services is limited to the amount paid for the affected service, except where law does not allow that limitation.
Warranties
Demohaulic warrants that services will be performed with reasonable care consistent with the confirmed scope. No warranty is made for hidden conditions, materials left in place, work by others, or the outcome of a later installation.
Communication
Customers may communicate by phone, text or email. Text messaging may be subject to carrier charges. Reply STOP to opt out of SMS.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan.
Acceptance
Requesting, scheduling or accepting services indicates acceptance of these terms and the job-specific scope provided by Demohaulic LLC.
