Basement Bathroom Tear-Out
The bathroom was carefully dismantled and removed. Materials were broken down as needed, carried through the protected route and removed from the property.

No plumbing or electrical modifications were performed by Demohaulic; plumbing, electrical, framing and wall-board work belonged to the next trade.
Protecting the Home Before Demolition
Before demolition, a protected travel path was created from the exterior entrance all the way to the basement bathroom. Floor protection was installed through the accessible areas so debris could be carried out while minimizing the chance of damage to finished flooring. A zipper-wall dust containment system was installed around the work area to help isolate demolition dust from the rest of the basement. A HEPA air scrubber was used during demolition to help control airborne dust and keep the work area more contained.
Concrete Floor Preparation
Once flooring was removed, adhesive and thinset remained on portions of the concrete slab. Demohaulic mechanically ground the concrete to remove remaining thinset and leave a cleaner, flatter surface for the contractor handling the next remodeling phase.
Clean Studs for the Next Trade
After walls were opened, remaining nails, screws and fasteners were removed from exposed studs. This left the room cleaner and easier for the remodeling contractor to begin plumbing, electrical, framing or wall-board work. Those next-trade activities were not performed by Demohaulic.
Demolition Debris Removal
All debris generated during demolition was removed from the basement, loaded into the company dump trailer and hauled away for disposal. The goal was to leave a clean, accessible space ready for remodeling.
